GEM Europe, in line with its mission to bring aid to the world's most challenging places, is taking action in Gaza, where humanitarian needs have reached dramatic levels. Our aim is to reach out to those most affected - families, children and the elderly - who are in a situation of extreme crisis.

The conflict and blockade has led to a dramatic lack of access to food, drinking water, medical care and safe shelters. The destruction of infrastructure, overburdened hospitals and shortages of basic supplies leave the local community in need of immediate support.

With official registrations, local partnerships and the fact that we are part of the international GEM network, we have the opportunity to bring humanitarian aid where access is extremely limited.

Thanks to GEM's infrastructure in Gaza we can act effectively: We have a warehouse, a team, partners and proven logistics. We know where to source products from, how to transport them and how to get them safely to those most in need.

Our aim is to deliver parcels of basic food and hygiene products on a regular basis.

We act quickly, flexibly and in a spirit of solidarity. Our network of volunteers and local partners allows us to effectively reach out to those in need in places where other organisations have difficult access. We believe that even in the most difficult circumstances, hope can be restored through concrete and coordinated action.
