We invite adults who live, learn, study, or work in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship and wish to develop their leadership skills and act for local communities to participate.

Yes. Participation in the GEM Europe Leaders Academy is entirely free of charge thanks to funding from the Government Programme for Civic Initiatives Development NOWEFIO for 2021–2030.

No. The programme is aimed at both people who want to start social activities and those who already have some experience and want to develop their skills.

The programme includes a minimum of 70 hours, comprising two weekend residential meetings in Warsaw, online workshops, webinars, and individual mentoring.

The programme is delivered in a hybrid format. Two weekend sessions will take place in Warsaw, while some workshops and webinars will be conducted online.

Yes. The organiser will cover the participants' travel costs to in-person meetings in accordance with the project's rules.

Yes. Each programme participant will work with an individual mentor, who will support them in developing their skills and refining their idea for social action.

Recruitment takes place via an application form available on the website. After the recruitment process concludes, applications will be assessed according to the criteria specified in the Recruitment Regulations. Selected individuals will be informed of their successful application via email.

Yes. Participants who complete the Programme in accordance with its rules and meet the requirements specified in the Regulations will receive a named certificate.

The programme includes two weekend in-person sessions in Warsaw, a series of online workshops and webinars, and individual mentoring. A detailed schedule will be provided to participants before the Programme begins.

The programme is run by experts and practitioners with experience in implementing social, educational, and humanitarian projects, including specialists in project management, logistics, crisis response, communication, and leadership development.

Yes. The most engaged participants will have the opportunity to undertake an internship or collaborate on future projects realised by GEM Europe.

Participants will gain practical skills in leadership, social project management, organising aid activities, communication, and collaboration with local partners. The programme also offers the opportunity to work with mentors, implement their own social initiative, and network with individuals actively involved in the social sector.
