Ukraine – regions: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk.
Project goal
Providing food aid to those most affected by the war in Ukraine through the purchase, preparation, transport and distribution of food parcels, and ensuring an efficient logistics system and monitoring of implemented activities.

Target group
Particular support will be provided to:
– persons affected by the consequences of war,
– internally displaced persons,
– women,
children,
– senior citizens,
– people with disabilities,
– people at risk of social exclusion,
– local communities living in areas affected by hostilities.

Main activities
– logistical preparation of the project and purchase of food products and packaging materials,
– quality control and product storage,
– completing and preparing food parcels,
– transport and distribution of aid using the „last mile” model,
– monitoring, beneficiary verification and project evaluation,
– Information and promotional activities in accordance with the guidelines of the Polish Aid programme.

Results
– preparation and distribution of food parcels for those most in need,
– ensuring access to basic food aid in war-torn areas,
– improvement of the logistical system for delivering humanitarian aid,
– carrying out monitoring and verification of the distribution process,
– increasing the visibility of Polish humanitarian aid through information activities in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

Aid for Gaza

The project is financed by the state budget within the framework of Polish development cooperation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

Location: Gaza Strip – regions: Khan Younis, Deir al-Balah, Rafah and Gaza City
Project goalProviding food assistance to the most needy residents of the Gaza Strip through the purchase, transport and distribution of food parcels, and ensuring an efficient logistics, monitoring and verification system for the aid provision process.

Target group
Particular support will be provided to:
– internally displaced persons,
– women,
children,
– senior citizens,
– people with disabilities,
– persons affected by the consequences of armed conflict,
– households in the most difficult humanitarian situation.

Main activities
– purchasing and preparing food parcels,
– Warehousing and quality control of products,
– transport of humanitarian aid through the Kerem Shalom crossing to operational warehouses,
– distribution of food aid to the most needy families in cooperation with the local GEM team,
– monitoring, beneficiary verification and project evaluation,
– Information and promotional activities in accordance with the guidelines of the Polish Aid programme.

Results
– preparation and distribution of food parcels,
– providing food assistance to thousands of people affected by the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip,
– efficient and transparent implementation of the logistics process and distribution of aid,
– monitoring and verification of the support process,
– increasing the visibility of Polish humanitarian aid through information activities in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
